On Monday cousin Jos came for a visit. It was a rainy day, so we took a while to decide what we were going to do. It being Monday most of the museums were closed, so there was nothing we could do inside. Eventually it cleared up enough for us to go to the Open Air Museum in Arnhem where we had lunch and spent the rest of the afternoon. We finished the day with a simple and quiet dinner at home in Wijchen and a lot of chatting till late in the evening.

Since I am by myself for a few days and Leonie and Ferdie are not coming home until late in the afternoon (or so I thought) Jose came to visit me in Wijchen for us to have a nice chin wag. It didn't quite happen like that, because Leonie and Ferdie, together with their son Geoffrey came home early. I picked them up at the station in Wijchen and we had all lunch together.
Wednesday and Thursday, September 16 and 17, 2015
On Wednesday we had a quiet day at home, as on Thursday, however we went out later that day to have lunch with Bram and Wendy in Nijmegen. Wendy is the daughter of a cousin of Ferdie's.
